The Executive Committee of Sudanese Human Rights Activists – Norway held several meetings with Mr. Yasir Arman, Deputy Secretary of SPLM – Northern Sector in the ninth and tenth of January 2015.

In these meetings, detailed discussions on “Sudan Call Document” as a conclusion of the Sudanese change forces towards unification in order to end the unfortunate situation of human rights in Sudan where the government commits abuses and not vice versa.

Thus, efforts to change the current regime in Sudan are inevitability necessity to stop human rights violations in Sudan.

One of the joint meetings included the Nuba Mountains Association in Norway where it was agreed on close cooperation and full coordination of work on documentation of human rights violations in the Nuba Mountains where governmental aerial bombardment is still targeting innocent civilians.

SHRA is now studying documents of “Sudan Call” and Civil Society Initiative and consults with similar civil society organizations that represented by Dr. Amin Mekki Medani who is currently detained at the Sudanese prisons.

This step is in preparation to join civil society organizations that have already engaged in the implementation of the document agenda.
